FactSet is seeking a skilled software engineer to join the risk model services team, who will be responsible for managing the risk models at FactSet. The FactSet Risk engine uses these models to calculate core investment analytics. The engineer will participate in the entire software development life cycle, from planning, analysis and design to implementing, testing and managing production services. Our current projects target building highly performant services that can process and deliver terabytes of structured data as part of our mission-critical systems.

Minimum Requirements

5+ years of relevant working experience

Critical Skills

Ability to handle complex C++ projectsExperience with developing large-scale enterprise softwareKnowledge in Web-service technologiesUnderstanding of No-SQL database technologiesExperience with cloud-based environments - Heroku and/or AWSGood command of Linux shellTest-driven development mindset

Education

Bachelor’s degree in information/computer science, engineering, or related discipline with IT focus required.
