We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience with modern C++ development and Linux operating system. You will be part of a dynamic team working on embedded systems for innovative Point of Care medical products https://www.siemens-healthineers.com/sk/point-of-care-testing.

Your role:

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software application using C++ 17 Develop custom built Linux operating system for the devices with the limited resources Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standardsDevelop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability Participate in code reviews to provide constructive feedback and improve overall code quality

Your expertise:

Experience with application development in modern C++ Knowledge of building Linux operating system using tools such as Buildroot or Yocto or strong interest in learning it Experience with writing automated unit and integration tests Solid understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles Experience with version control systems such as Git Understanding of agile development process Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication in English and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Experience with writing or modifying Linux drivers (Kernel modules) is a strong plus Willingness to learn hardware schematics
