As a **C# .NET Software Developer** , at Invenco, you’ll play a vital role in building and enhancing a cutting-edge indoor payment solution used across Europe, collaborating closely with a passionate and talented international team in a dynamic, agile environment.

C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server, REST APIs, scripting (Python/PowerShell).

**What you'll be doing:**
Collaborating closely with a talented international team, you’ll write clean, efficient C# code, participate in agile development, and help deliver a top-quality, cutting-edge payment solution.
- As a C# .NET Software Developer this will include:
- Development and Integration
- Build and enhance innovative features for an indoor payment system deployed across fuel stations.
- Develop and integrate new functionality primarily in C# with .NET Framework on Microsoft Windows.
- Integrate and collaborate with third-party payment devices such as card terminals and kiosks.
- Collaboration and Agile Practices
- Collaborate daily with a diverse team of architects, developers, QA specialists, and product owners via Teams.
- Work hand-in-hand with experienced architects and team leads to craft clean, efficient, and robust code.
- Pair program with colleagues and QA to deliver top-quality results.
- Engage in technical discussions with global teams and third-party partners.
- Thrive in an agile environment with two-week sprints, daily stand-ups, and bi-weekly team catch-ups using modern tools like JIRA and GitHub.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
- Participate actively in code reviews, continuous integration, deployment (CI/CD), and help optimize legacy code.
- Ensure high-quality software through unit testing, test automation, and simulation when needed.
- Stay flexible and proactive in a fast-moving project, consistently bringing new ideas and solutions to the table.
**About you:**
You’ll speak Italian AND English and be living within a daily commutable distance to Florence.
**What you’ll bring:**
- 4-5+ years of software development experience.
- Strong command of C# and .NET Framework on Microsoft Windows.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Practical experience with SQL Server and writing queries.
- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, REST, WebSocket, and front-end tech (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS) is a plus.
- A team player who thrives in a large, collaborative environment.
- Clear communication skills in English and Italian (written and spoken).
- Availability to work on-site in Florence
- Adaptable mindset ready to keep up with changing priorities and eager to learn new technologies.
- Bonus points for Spanish or Portuguese language skills!
