The Financial Planning team within Wealth and Asset Management (WAM) Engineering builds the experiences and platform to support clients in planning for their futures – to give them a unique way to translate their goals into actions. In Financial Planning, we are looking for a Software Developer. You will be a strong developer on the team with deep technical knowledge as well as the ability to help other team members in solving complex technical issues. You will work closely with architects, technologists, and business partners to align with the team and organization technology strategies.

Responsibilities include
Designing and implementing REST and SOAP API services and using SQL and NoSQL databases to manage data.Writing unit and integration tests and help set up the CI/CD pipeline while working with DevOps.Adhering to best-effort Trunk-based development which includes writing automation code along with the completion of a feature.Openness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team. What you haveRequired qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field is required5+ years of hands-on experience with application and service development using C# and .NET frameworks (ASP.NET, .NET Core) 3+ years’ experience in Distributed Databases Microsoft SQL Server(preferred) and NoSQL database: MongoDB etc.3+ years’ experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, message queues, etc.)Professional experience with RESTful and SOAP API developmentExperience with both Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and cloud services such as Google Cloud PlatformExperience with Github actions and setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools such as BambooProfessional experience with source code repository tools, such as Bitbucket and GitHubParticipate in engineering practices such as code reviews, service discovery, and environment strategyProvide support, including on-call support when necessary
Preferred qualifications
Experience working in a fast-paced financial services domain is preferredExperience working with Microsoft Copilot and Gen-Ai solutionsStrong communication skills – you balance written and verbal communication to clearly share your perspective with others on the teamExperience mentoring junior engineers and helping them grow their technical skills through clear feedback and code reviewsDemonstrated mindset of continuous learning and improvementExperience with Java is preferred but not required
