This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the identification of new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

This role is contributing to the Smart power division in Frosinone.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.

Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.

Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.

Verifying external capacity of all suppliers and approaching new ones on the market.

Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.


Qualifications for the role

You hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Managerial Engineering;

Interest in developing your career in product engineering, supply chain or purchasing area;

Knowledge of main Mechanical technologies used in industrial processes would be a nice to have;

Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus;

Very Good knowledge of English (level B2) and Italian, written and spoken;

Good knowledge of MS Office (excel, access, word, ppt);

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to manage different tasks, good communication skills;
