Buyer Planner
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Senior Buyer Planner to support supply chain operations at our Houston, TX facility. In this role, you will work in a dynamic, high-tech production environment with opportunities for growth and cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for planning and procuring materials required for production, ensuring the timely delivery of goods to avoid line stoppages or operational delays. Your role is essential in maintaining efficient supply levels while balancing cost, quality, and delivery to meet site-specific operational goals.   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Prepare and issue purchase orders, handle supplier acknowledgments, and resolve discrepancies in price, quantity, and delivery. Expedite purchase orders and communicate delivery updates to relevant departments. Handle material shortages, short shipments, and buy lists to maintain production flow. Analyze invoice discrepancies and resolve them using standard procedures. Resolve quality issues and handle Non-Conformance Material Reports for both internal and supplier-related concerns. Develop and maintain accurate production plans aligned with the Master Schedule, including leveling resource loads and outsourcing as needed. Coordinate closely with manufacturing, customer service, planners, and production teams to ensure schedule adherence and resolve conflicts. Use Microsoft Office and Oracle planning tools to track production orders, adjust reschedule dates, and support efficient material recovery.

  For This Role, You Will Need: High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years of related experience Buying, Production Planning and Control, S&OP, Procurement, Inventory Management, and Supply Chain with data mining, manipulation, analysis, and reporting experience. Intermediate understanding of Supply Chain systems (MRP, ERP), tools, and applications. Knowledgeable in Supply Chain functions, concepts, and processes.  Familiarity with Supply Chain Commodities, Data Analysis and Interpretation, Material Requirement Planning, Metrics Reporting, and Gap Analysis.   Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related courses
