Your role at Clorox:
This position provides support for the Procurement organization as a member of the Procurement Operations team with responsibility for various activities, including S/4 HANA and Ariba Spend Management training and support, Category Managers’ support for price uploads, identification and resolution of issues related to supply contract pricing, sourcing events creation, scorecard data inputs, vendor master data management, supplier onboarding. The Buyer resolves issues (invoicing, workflow, formula cards & SAP data) proactively by working as a liaison between all internal parties and externally with Suppliers as needed to ensure contract adherence. The role develops, maintains, and optimizes recurring reports and delivers ad-hoc analytic support to assigned Spend Categories in Procurement. The role also develops job aids to document best practices. A continuous improvement mindset required to drive efficiency and eliminate waste.In this role, you will:
Engage Category Managers (and as needed Suppliers) to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions for open issues.Analyze past activity to determine root cause and communicate and implement solutions that avoid same/similar issue reoccurrence.Partner with Category Managers to ensure proper development and maintenance of SAP Outline Agreements (Pricing Agreements) to ensure goods/services supplied as efficiently as possible and managed in full compliance to supply agreements.Ensure pricing uploads managed in a timely manner in accordance with volatile market/index conditions.Monitor and resolve assigned tickets in Procurement Excellence Request System and ensure timely resolution.Develop, optimize, and manage regular reporting for individual Spend Categories and overall Procurement organization, e.g., Blocked/Expiring OAs, Obsolete Materials.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely reporting and provide training and support to suppliers as needed to ensure timely delivery of information.Analyze historical information to identify and aid in driving continuous process improvement opportunities that minimize future disruptions and drive more efficient management of contractual obligations between Clorox Procurement team and its Suppliers.Document best practices in the form of job aids Provide miscellaneous project and analytic support to Procurement. For e.g., pulling specifications from our material spec. repository tool.Support sourcing activities such creating sourcing events, contract signatures, tools support.Collaborate with procurement stakeholders to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.#LI-Hybrid
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience and training.2-3 years of proven experience in procurement processes and supply chain management, with strong understanding of end-to-end supplier-facing supply chain operations.Hands-on experience with SAP, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar ERP/procurement systems.Skilled in invoice processing, materials management, vendor data management, and providing tactical support to Category Managers.Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail, complemented by effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, with ability to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.Highly organized, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, drive continuous improvement, and build strong working relationships.We seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
