Description We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team on a contract basis in Broomfield, Colorado. This position involves managing procurement tasks, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries while collaborating closely with multiple departments. The role is fully onsite and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the supply chain operations of our organization. Responsibilities: • Conduct procurement runs and place purchase orders to meet organizational needs. • Monitor shipment schedules and address expedited delivery requirements as necessary. • Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any delivery issues. • Track and confirm the arrival of goods while following up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. • Evaluate container load shipments to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and update relevant systems as needed. • Communicate with vendors to negotiate terms and address any discrepancies. • Work with internal systems, including SAP, to manage purchasing workflows and data. • Identify areas for improvement in procurement processes and recommend solutions to enhance performance. Requirements • Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role. • Proficiency in SAP and other relevant purchasing systems. • Familiarity with EHR systems is preferred. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with various departments and vendors. • Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking shipments and processing orders. • Ability to analyze procurement data and make informed decisions. • Availability to work onsite during the specified hours.
