Robert Half is seeking a dedicated Buyer/Purchaser to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring goods and services in a cost-effective and timely manner to meet company needs while ensuring quality standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities + Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors to meet the organization’s procurement needs. + Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value without compromising quality or timelines. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze and forecast inventory requirements. + Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors to make data-driven purchasing decisions. + Manage vendor relationships and performance, ensuring alignment with company policies and expectations. + Process purchase orders, maintain accurate records, and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods. + Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement procurement strategies to streamline operations. + Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Requirements + Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. + Skills: + Strong negotiation and communication skills. + Proficiency in MS Dynamics GP preferred + Analytical mindset with the ability to forecast and plan strategically. + Time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities. + Knowledge of market trends and supplier management best practices.
