Job Title: Buyer Job Description We are seeking a motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented individual to support our US global Procurement team. This role will be responsible for purchasing NPI indirect and direct preproduction instruments and consumable raw materials, as well as managing key supplier relationships for the assigned categories. Responsibilities + Manage communication with key preproduction raw material suppliers and act as the primary point of contact for supplier communication and issue resolutions for the assigned commodity categories. + Ensure timely issuing of purchase orders to support the manufacturing needs. + Maintain and set up purchasing and sourcing related data fields for the assigned materials and suppliers in the ERP system. + Monitor purchase order statuses and update or escalate if needed. + Help to define and monitor supplier performance matrix. + Lead or support RFQ/RFP projects. Essential Skills + Bachelors degree in Science or Engineering + 2+ years of procurement, sourcing, or relevant supply chain or operations experience. + Experience in both indirect and direct sourcing. + NPI experience (New Product Introduction) required. + Biotech or life sciences, medical device, or instrument required. + Proficiency in Oracle Fusion strongly preferred. Work Environment The position requires working on-site five days per week Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
