Our client, a dynamic player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Buyer to join their team. As a Buyer, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Buyer

Location: Cromwell, CT

Pay Range: $24-$28/hr

What's the Job?

Assist the Buyer and Planner to manage purchasing tasks and alleviate workload. Perform clerical duties related to the purchasing process. Engage with vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. Conduct research to address purchasing-related inquiries. Collaborate with internal employees to resolve accounting discrepancies.

What's Needed?

Experience in purchasing, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with SAP systems is preferred but not required. Strong understanding of the purchasing process. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
