If you are a Buyer looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will procure material, equipment, operating supplies and services to meet cost, inventory, project and production objectives.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Support the Factory by ensuring material is available in support of production schedules
Communicate and resolve shortages in a timely manner
Work daily priority reports
Supplier Management: Create or modify POs to satisfy demand & general correspondence
Support any quality actions (MRs, red lights, etc.)
Comply with all import / export regulations and documentation required
Handle / resolve Buyer Delivery performance and matching holds reports
Manage inventory to Supply Chain goals using various analytics / reporting tools
Communicate monthly forecasts and delivery performance to suppliers
Re-Classify item ABC codes and item attributes (safety stock and lead times)
Present at various report forums on inventory performance and project status

Bachelor’s Degree
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $49,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
