Procurement Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tInitiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.•\tNegotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.•\tRecommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.•\tAnalyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.

Qualifications for the role

\t2+ years of experience in purchasing or similar position. \tConversational English. \tAdvanced Excel skills. \tPlacing purchase orders, acccount statements and inventory analysis. \tTracking delivery dates for purchase orders. \tCreating purchase order requisitions. \tKnowledge specifically in SAP purchasing transactions. \tKnowledge of reading MRP - MD04.\tAverage handling of part numbers between 400/800.\tManagement of at least 20 suppliers. \tSap knowledge. \tDesire Power BI.
