Our Middleburg Heights, OH team is looking for an Assembler to join their team! You will perform a variety of routine and/or low dollar value buying/purchasing tasks involving materials, supplies, or services.  Review purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers. Follow up on all orders to completion.  You will coordinate with the accounting department as required resolving questions on suppliers' invoices.

Your Challenge:

Review purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers. Follow up on open orders to completion.  Assist with reports and expedites.

Review and maintain proper safety stock levels.

Coordinate with the accounting department as required resolving questions on suppliers' invoices.

Supplier management by ensuring reliable and consistent quality from suppliers while managing relationships and negotiating favorable terms.

Inventory control by balancing inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock.

Cost management by keeping procurement costs within budget while sourcing high-quality connectors, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

Managing and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions.

Perform other related duties or functions as assigned.

Your Expertise:

3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or supply chain

Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain), preferred

Knowledge of material management functions which includes procurement planning and processes.

Ability to effectively communicate with others

Strong oral and written communication skills

MS Office experience required

Experience in Oracle or other ERP/MRP system preferred.

Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.

Proficient in negotiations
