Buyer, New Build Design
Job Title: Buyer, New Build Procurement Job Description We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement operations team within the New Build area. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures while managing procurement activities effectively. You'll have the opportunity to work with a multi-billion-dollar company! Responsibilities + Oversee procurement operations under the New Build area, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. + Source competitive bids from vendors and conduct price comparisons to support cost-effective purchasing decisions. + Manage the issuance and timely processing of purchase orders (POs). + Track and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and prompt payment. + Follow up on approval workflows to ensure timely authorization of procurement activities. + Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve procurement-related issues. + Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes. Essential Skills + Experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related administrative role. + Strong analytical and organizational skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.84/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
