Your Challenge:
Reviews purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers. Follows up on open orders to completion. Assist with reports and expediates.
Review and maintain proper safety stock levels.
Coordinates with the accounting department as required resolving questions on suppliers' invoices.
Maintain a neat and clean work area.
Perform other related duties or functions as assigned.
What You Bring:
0-1 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or supply chain
Entry level to experienced buying knowledge, particularly in procurement support and PO processing.
Knowledge of material management functions which includes procurement planning and processes.
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Strong oral and written communication skills
MS Office experience required
Microsoft Excel experience required.
Experience in Syteline or other ERP/MRP system preferred.
Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
