About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Butler to join the Guest Relations Team in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Ensure hostess desk/door is always manned so that all guests receive a friendly & prompt welcome  Schedule dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for customers according to the Restaurant Reservations SOP  Actively uses the standards detailed in F&B Enquiry/ Booking checklist when taking Restaurant enquiries or bookings Greet guests, and escorts them as required. Must familiarize with the menu to answer guest’s queries  Ensure that all complaints are promptly attended to and check with the guest for Feedback. Maintain knowledge of all in-house services as well as local information and must be able to assist guests as per their enquiries  Identify guest’s needs and expectations correctly, including those with special needs, and provide appropriate products, services, or information in line with Heart of Jumeirah. Inform staff on next shift about special needs or as necessary 

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Essential Highschool diploma or Secondary education Microsoft Office (Basic Knowledge)  Micros, Epicure Restaurant Reservation system  Proficient in English (Read/Write/ Speak – Essential)  Proficient in additional language (Preferred: Read/Write/Speak)  1-2 years’ experience in guests service-related work in a 5-star hotel in Casual/All Day Dining
