Business Unit Lead - US0204
Position Overview:
As a key leader within Bayer, you will represent units and collaborate in the Country/Area Level Steering Team to drive business objectives through short- and mid-term strategies. You will facilitate the flow of financial resources, skills, and expertise to respond to changing needs within the market and across the broader business. You will co-own the integration of GTM strategy across the portfolio, including digital and new solution selling approaches within the supporting unit. Your role involves ownership and accountability of Regional and Divisional SRPs and key channel partner relationships to deliver on Bayer business results, while partnering with Strategic Account Leads of SRPs represented within the region, ensuring strategic and execution alignment. You will co-create customer-centric activities and processes to enable a superior customer experience, driving business growth in a highly competitive and complex business landscape. You will catalyze timely and matching corrective actions as required to respond to market changes and challenge all stakeholders to focus on holistic cross-portfolio value creation. You will lead the evolution to self-managed teams, supporting these teams as they translate big picture outcomes into relevant team missions and outcomes, ensuring the customer remains the first priority. You will foster an inclusive environment of professionalism and safe working practices, empowering all colleagues to own the business and coaching team members to grow their financial and business acumen. You will monitor and identify other areas for development to maximize employee performance, job satisfaction, and career opportunities.

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
Bachelor of Science in Business or related field;Proven experience as a dynamic leader achieving business results in an autonomous environment;Proven experience leading and influencing teams across various functions and business lines;Strong self-reliance balanced with humility to seek out experts for the greater good;Capable of leading diverse high-performing teams and delegating decision-making strategically;Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets;Financial acumen with the ability to interpret and prepare financial statements (P&L);Broad understanding of the crop production business, particularly in seed, crop protection, distributor customer systems, and competitive environment;Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and listening—to maximize results with customers and stakeholders.Valid Driver’s license and eligibility to drive a company car or pooled vehicle (driving record must meet guidelines based on the company’s Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers and MVR will be reviewed as part of pre-employment screening).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Business or related field with a minimum of 10 years of sales and/or marketing experience;

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $183346.40 - 275019.60. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
