Site Name: Netherlands - Amersfoort Posted Date: Aug 20 2025 Job purpose: As Business Unit Head Vaccines (BUH Vx) you will be accountable through direct management and matrix leadership of the vaccines business in the Netherlands. This role will ensure the successful design and implementation of insight-based strategies and tactics with growth mindset to deliver Vx sales via leadership of sales and marketing activities (direct) as well as matrix leadership of medical, market access and Communications and Government Affairs (CGA). It will be critical to ensure that any compliance risks are mitigated by applying transparency in relationships with internal & external stakeholders. This requires the acceleration of risk mindset maturity throughout the business unit to enable strong performance the right way. Your responsibilities: Single point of accountability for development and delivery of the vaccines strategic, operational and financial plan - this includes leading on excellence on cross functional execution, establishing a growth mindset culture with strong phycological safety and developing / attracting key talent. Scenario planning to ensure optimized probability of success in Government & Reimbursement related matters Create innovative cross functional strategies to accelerate out of pocket and public vaccine opportunities, incorporating B2B principles where applicable Lead the team of direct reports and provide clear context for the X-functional Team by close engagement of the supporting functions through a mix of regular (x-functional) meetings, communications cells and 1:1’s. Strong focus on a coaching and development structure for both line and indirect reports Clear communication to NL MT and above country team on how activities are aligned to must wins and strategy Keep abreast of industry & market dynamics, and anticipate, analyze, and identify current and future market opportunities their potential impact on GSK Ensure effective development and implementation of assigned initiatives and delivery of Vx portfolio business case Provide direction and insight to the marketing team to ensure that effective product strategies are locally developed and executed, aligned to GSK Vx and corporate objectives. Assure compliance and adherence to highest ethical standards and consistent communication of ethical image and position Maintain complete familiarity with all competitive products in market, their promotion, positioning, pricing, clinical data, etc. Strong delegation of responsibilities for overall strategic and operational intents and field force development Develops the leadership capability and skills of the direct reports reinforced by positive role modelling Understand the key dynamics of the organization, advocate compliance, values and the respect of company’s process.
