Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh Corporation business, is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of customized fire apparatus. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Unit Director to lead our business, overseeing all aspects of operations, strategic planning, and financial performance within our Cab, Chassis, and Electrical platform. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving business objectives. This role reports to the President of Pierce Manufacturing.YOUR IMPACT:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to drive growth, innovation, and market expansion in alignment with corporate goals.Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer service, ensuring efficiency and adherence to industry standards.Product Innovation & Industry Leadership: Champion a culture of innovation by steering product development initiatives that anticipate both domestic & international customer needs and position Oshkosh as a leader in next-generation airport firefighting and support equipment. Collaborate cross-functionally to accelerate go-to-market strategies and technology integration.Financial Management: Manage the division's budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure fiscal health.Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business development.Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations comply with applicable regulations, safety standards, and corporate policies.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field10+ years in a leadership role within manufacturing or a related industrySTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

Pay Range:
$132,500.00 - $233,100.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
