Overview
Join Our Team in Hong Kong as the Vaccines Business Unit Director and lead the strategic vision for our vaccine's portfolio in Hong Kong and Macau. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, we are seeking an ambitious, seasoned, and innovative leader with a proven track record for driving business growth in a competitive and dynamic market environment. With full P&L responsibility, you will serve as an integral part of the Hong Kong & Macau senior leadership team, while fostering strong collaboration with our global and regional leadership. Notably, our team in Hong Kong reports directly into the Asia Pacific region, enabling a wide range of career development opportunities for our colleagues across other APAC markets and in regional roles.

Key Responsibilities:
P&L Ownership & Financial Stewardship:
Full accountability for Vaccines Portfolio P&L, responsible for achieving all revenue, expense, and profitability targets
Makes strategic portfolio investment decisions, prioritizing high-impact growth opportunities to maximize long term value creation
Oversees sales performance, inventory management, and ensures accurate sales forecasting & scenario planning to support agile decision making
Leadership & Talent Development:
Leads a team of 13+ colleagues, including marketing and sales team, providing strategic oversight and cultivating a high-performance culture
Fosters strong relationships with key external stakeholders including key scientific leaders, major accounts, industry associations, advocacy groups, and government policy makers to advance business objectives
Attracts, Develops, & Retains talent, fostering a high-performance culture grounded in engagement, diversity, and inclusion
Inspires & aligns cross functional team (including sales, marketing, access, medical, policy) around a unified vision, sets clear strategic priorities, performance expectations, and KPIs
Serves as a pivotal member of the Hong Kong Leadership Team, contributing to the development and execution of our enterprise wide 5-year strategic plan, including planning for robust pipeline, while delivering on short term operational, financial, and people objectives
Represents jour company at global and Asia-Pacific regional leadership forums, ensuring alignment and integration with regional and global strategies
Champions our company's core values and ensures compliance across all functions
Market Analysis & Strategic Planning
Monitors current market dynamics, business drivers, competitive landscape, regulatory policies, & macro-economic trends to anticipate and mitigate risks impacting business growth
Leverages sales/market data, analytics, and customer insights to inform strategic decision making and drive improved business outcomes
Ensures launch readiness of vaccines pipeline products, including developing commercialization plans (market shaping, marketing mix, channel strategy) & liaising with region and global colleagues
Sales & Marketing Execution
Accountable for the development & execution of annual marketing & sales plans/strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth
Oversees market research, advertising & promotion, omnichannel marketing, distribution, pricing, and sales enablementto maximize competitive advantage
Strategic Collaborations
Leads teams to develop innovative solutions and partnerships to unlock new commercial opportunities and/or address barriers

Skills, knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or related discipline
10-15 years' relevant industry experience in managing a business, sales and/or marketing, with proven experience in building and growing brands
Led large teams to exceed financial targets w/ preference given to experienced leaders in turning around performance in highly competitive environments
Experience launching novel products in challenging market conditions and delivering exceptional long-term results
Experience identifying, evaluating, & executing strategic partnerships/commercial agreements to create long term value for brands and the company
Vaccines or pharmaceutical experience preferred, but not required
Strong understanding of Hong Kong healthcare ecosystem preferred
Excellent fluency in English mandatory; Cantonese & Mandarin fluency preferred
