Pyramid Global Hospitality is an industry leading and growing global hotel management company. We are seeking a fulltime public space attendant to grow along with our company, and to be a part of the culture that puts its people first! Summary The Business Transient Sales Manager is responsible for representing Hotel Flor’s services and facilities to prospective business travel sales clients and customers within the local and national market. Specifically, the Business Transient Sales Manager would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Building and establishing relationships with local transient clients Responding to local corporate leads from potential clients and current customers seeking sleeping rooms and/or food and beverage services, etc. Creating relationships and establishing contract with F.I.T and wholesale clients Initiates new sales, prospects and qualifies leads and solicits potential clients Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts, including outside sales calls Conduct property site visits and answer questions Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and service accounts. Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals Partner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accounts Qualifications SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process. Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader. There is minimal direct supervision. Knowledge of all departments of the hotel. Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints. Sales ability and skill in both oral and written form. Ability to identify and develop accounts with individual guest room needs. Ability to establish and master goals. Must possess basic computational ability. Must possess computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi. QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education: High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years hotel business transient sales experience required.
