**Introduction**
A Supply Chain Consultant is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. They work closely with clients to identify areas for improvement across procurement, logistics, inventory management, production planning, and distribution networks. The role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to implement best practices in supply chain operations.
**Your role and responsibilities**

Client Engagement & Analysis
*
Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' existing supply chain processes.
*
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas of risk.
*
Analyze supply and demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory levels.
*
Strategy Development
*
Develop customized supply chain strategies based on client needs.
*
Recommend improvements to procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution operations.
*
Assist in technology selection and implementation (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).
*
Implementation & Optimization
*
Lead or support the implementation of new supply chain solutions.
*
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
*
Optimize supplier and vendor management processes.
*
Collaboration & Training
*
Work cross-functionally with departments such as procurement, finance, logistics, and operations.
*
Train client staff on new tools, processes, and best practices.
*
Provide change management support during transitions.
*
Project Management
*
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
*
Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
*
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
**Required technical and professional expertise**

**Preferred technical and professional experience**
*
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.
*
7+ years of experience in supply chain consulting or operations.
*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*
Proficiency in supply chain software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.).
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
*
Willingness to travel depending on client needs.
