Robert Half, Inc. seeks Business Systems Analyst III in San Ramon, CA:
Job Duties: Responsible for new enhancements, maintenance, and support of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications including PeopleSoft. Analyze business techno-functional problems to be solved with automated solutions, processes, and procedures. Design and develop solutions to PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain (FSCM) applications. Perform system study and Fit-Gap analysis for application management and integration functions. Provide functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are effective and meet user and system requirements. Create requirements and functional design specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Configure PeopleSoft FSCM modules as per the business requirements. Create test scenarios and test scripts for the business processes and plan and perform end-to-end system and integration testing. Provide consultation to users regarding automated systems. Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Coordinate between functional, development and business teams during the Define, Design, Build, Test and Transition phases of a project. Perform and participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing. Assist the business users during User Acceptance testing. Perform cut-over activities and provide post go-live support for the implementation of business requirements. Review design proposals and provide feedback on alignment with business requirements. Ensure application systems are aligned with user needs, objectives, processes, and overall business strategies. Contribute to the establishment/review of department delivery policies and procedures. Guide implementation of new business processes to support system changes. Ensure integrated system and production support are in place. Develop systems implementation strategy in partnership with key business stakeholders. Create andf/or orchestrate project plans for the entire development lifecycle, including maintenance planning. Write complex queries based on requirements and create detailed and thorough test plans for initiatives. Track the issues, enhancements and project deliverables using JIRA. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning applications analysis, system development, and support experience (3 years).Experience with performing fit/gap analysis based on business requirements (3 years).Experience with project management tools and methodologies including JIRA, Agile Methodologies and software development lifecycle (3 years).Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM delivered and customized (3 years).Experience writing complex queries and reports in SQL (3 years).Experience creating complex process flow diagrams that demonstrate business or system process flow (3 years).Experience creating test plans and test scripts to perform various testing phases (3 years).Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed from anywhere in the U.S. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check. Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
