Position Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for evaluating NFM’s technological capabilities and Information Technology systems to identify areas of conflict and propose resolutions. The Business Systems Analyst will work with users to understand their functionality requests and then communicates those requirements to program developers. They will also be responsible for creating documentation related to application updates as well as performing final testing. In addition to these duties, the Business Systems Analyst will also provide IT support for all of NFM’s employees. This requires timely and accurate diagnosis of system related problems and determining between hardware, software and network related problems, and will work in conjunction with the System Administrator to provide resolution. The Business Systems Analyst will be expected to take ownership of assigned incidents and problems, and contact required resources both inside and outside the company necessary to resolve the problem.
Essential Job Functions:
Specific tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Accurately document proposed application design, including interactions between NFM’s current systems.
Identify and address operational, financial, and technological capabilities within the business.
Maintain, test, and improve business system operations.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
Communicate ideas and viewpoints to senior management.
Act as liaison between business and Information Technology groups.
Create monthly performance reports.
Identify and implement innovative ways to increase customer satisfaction
Supervise the design of new products and evaluate how these will perform in the market.
Evaluate the performance of project teams to ensure deadlines are met.
Work with applicable parties to ensure that all changes are announced and understood by the end user, which will include drafting initial release notes.

Conduct final testing to verify performance and identify any issues that may arise.
Define project requirements to identify what resources will be needed.
This position may require occasional overtime and travel.
The Business Systems Analyst is expected to maintain satisfactory attendance and report to work on time everyday.

Required Job Functions:
Review and evaluate current and proposed IT systems and applications to anticipate conflicts and propose resolutions.
Partner with end users to understand their requests and functionality needs and communicate this to the programmers to ensure they have a correct understanding of what is needed.
Troubleshoot all information technology issues, including software, hardware, and networking.
Configure, install and update desktops, laptops, PDAs, peripherals, networks, and related software.
