Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This individual will demonstrate accountability and leadership within the team.
Job Duties
ERP System Administration
• Manage user access, permissions, and configurations within the enterprise ERP system.
• Conduct regular user audits and ensure compliance with security policies and operational standards.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and coordinate with vendors for system troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Business Process Automation
• Design and manage automated workflows using tools like VisualCron or equivalent.
• Implement secure file transfers between internal systems and third-party vendors.
• Reduce manual workload through process automation across HR, Finance, and Compliance.
System Integrations
• Maintain and support data integrations between ERP and external systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, training).
• Resolve data synchronization issues and support testing during system upgrades or changes.
Database Management & Development
• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business operations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and procedures; ensure data integrity and security.
• Translate and work with Oracle-based and Microsoft SQL syntax when needed for cross-platform compatibility.
Document & Workflow Management
• Administer document management systems and configure digital forms and approval workflows (Docuware).
• Ensure secure, indexed storage and retrieval of employee and vendor documentation.
Financial & Budgeting Systems Support
• Support budgeting platforms and financial reporting systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and real-time data integrations for Finance teams.
Reporting & Analytics
• Generate data reports using SQL, Power BI, and Spreadsheet Server.
• Translate business needs into automated data reporting tools and insights.
SharePoint Administration & Site Development
• Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, managing site access and security permissions.
• Design and develop SharePoint sites to support internal documentation, collaboration, and communication needs.
• Ensure consistency, usability, and security across departmental SharePoint sites.
Support & Collaboration
• Provide technical support and system guidance to HR, Finance, and Operations staff.
• Train end-users and maintain system documentation and SOPs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement technology improvements and digital solutions.
Security & Compliance
• Enforce system security protocols and maintain audit logs for compliance readiness.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation and system data access.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration
+ Minimum 3 years related work experience required
+ Proven experience in coordinating the design, development, and implementation of data driven applications, systems, or product
+ Experience with Infor Lawson not required, but highly desirable
+ Experience with behavioral health, healthcare and/or social work preferred, but not required
