Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Development. Possess sufficient knowledge and skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop simple applications solutions. Second level professional with direct impact on results and outcome.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders and SMEs for US regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Document detailed business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Perform data mapping between multiple source systems and regulatory templates (e.g., 2052a, FR Y-9C, Call Reports).
• Define and document data lineage to ensure traceability and transparency from source to regulatory report submission.
• Perform in-depth data analysis, reconciliations, and validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with developers, testers, and compliance teams to ensure accurate implementation of reporting requirements.
• Prepare UAT test strategy, test cases, and lead UAT cycles for regulatory submissions.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, dashboards, and status trackers for management reporting.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior BAs within the team.
Must-Have Skills:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking/financial services.
• Strong expertise in US regulatory reporting (2052a, Collateral, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with data mapping, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and strong skills in Excel; exposure to reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle complex datasets, analyze problems, and propose scalable solutions.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
• Prior experience working with regulatory reporting systems and large-scale data platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
