Ready to join a team that’s pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque. **Position Overview:** The Business Support Specialist will act as the first point of contact for people leaders who need assistance navigating J&J’s self-service processes and systems to manage their teams. In addition, this role provides general administrative support to the business. **Essential Job Functions:** + Open new requisitions and schedule interviews + Deliver new hire orientation and distribute swag + Process promotions, salary changes, reporting changes, terminations or other employee changes on behalf of the manager + Act as the key point of contact for time and attendance related topics for hourly employees (if applicable) + Assign role or team specific training, or remove incorrectly assigned training + Collaborate with Recruiters, BUHR, and Managers, to provide an excellent employee experience and encourage positive company morale + Escalate issues with manager tasks to the appropriate internal resource and ensure resolution + Proactively identify gaps in existing processes and take initiative to implement agreed changes + Enable compliance and participate with audits + Assist with planning and executing team and company events, including catering coordination + Work on projects where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations **Qualifications / Requirements:** + BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent, relevant work experience + Proven ability to quickly task-switch, prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment + Great relationship management and communication skills + Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner + High attention to detail + Great ethics, especially when accessing or handling confidential information + Ability to stay organized, prioritize and achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment + Proficient in Microsoft Office + Experience with ADP or similar payroll/HRIS desired + Strong problem solving, data analysis and analytical skills **Additional Information:** The anticipated salary range for this position is **$47,150 - $75,383** The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
