Business Support Specialist
Description The Business Support Specialist will act as the first point of contact for people leaders who need assistance navigating the companies self-service processes and systems to manage their teams. In addition, this role provides general administrative support to the business. -Partner with managers to open new requisitions and schedule interviews -Partner with the Recruiting & Onboarding (R&O) and Talent Acquisition (TA) Teams to support onboarding -Deliver new hire orientation and be a subject matter expert for new hires -Walk managers through processing promotions, salary changes, reporting changes, terminations or other employee changes -Act as the key point of contact for time and attendance-related topics for hourly employees (if applicable) -Collaborate with TA, BUHR, and Managers, to provide an excellent employee experience and encourage positive company morale -Escalate issues with manager tasks to the appropriate internal resource and ensure resolution -Proactively identify gaps in existing processes and take the initiative to implement agreed changes -Enable compliance and participate with audits -Assist with planning and executing team and company events, including catering coordination -Work on projects where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations -Other duties as assigned Skills Onboarding, Microsoft office, adp payroll, project management, administrative support, Data entry, Process improvement Top Skills Details Onboarding, Microsoft office, adp payroll, project management, administrative support Additional Skills & Qualifications -BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent, relevant work experience -Proven ability to manage concurrent responsibilities, prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment -Great relationship management and communication skills -Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner -High attention to detail -Great ethics, especially when accessing or handling confidential information -Ability to stay organized, prioritize and achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment -Strong problem solving, data analysis and analytical skills -Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
