Business Support Manager I

Description

While receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day running of this Infrastructure area. Day-to-day running of infrastructure area may cover activities such as facilities, space planning and moves, and systems development and support. Incumbents may also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring the infrastructure area costs and may also be involved in strategic business planning and change management initiatives. Furthermore, she / builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers when liaising with the other business areas such as human resources, legal & compliance, and operations which may also be an integral part of the role.

Primary responsibilities include

The incumbent is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of the business support strategy that is aligned with organizational goals and objects.The incumbent’s involvement with business support strategy, may also include responsibilities assisting in identifying areas for improvement in business support processes, systems, and workflows.The incumbent is also responsible for team coordination and support, which includes coordinating and supporting the activities of the business support team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for stakeholder engagement, which includes contributing consultative support to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.The incumbent is responsible for process execution and improvement, which includes identifying opportunities to improve and streamline business support processes.Lastly, the incumbent is responsible for service delivery and performance, which involves assisting in ensuring the delivery of high-quality business support services to internal stakeholders and collaborating with the team to address issues or bottlenecks in service delivery and seek opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure coordination, business support, or operations management, preferably within a corporate or enterprise environment.

Operational Expertise:
Demonstrated ability to manage day-to-day infrastructure operations, including facilities, space planning, systems support, and vendor coordination. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring is essential.

Strategic & Analytical Thinking:
Proven capability to contribute to strategic business planning and change management initiatives. Strong analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Experience liaising with departments such as Human Resources, Legal & Compliance, and Operations. Ability to build organizational knowledge and foster productive relationships across business units.

Team Coordination & Leadership:
Skilled in coordinating team activities, supporting team performance, and ensuring efficient workflows. Experience in guiding teams through process execution and continuous improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Strong consultative and communication skills to engage stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver high-quality business support services.

Process & Service Orientation:
Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance service delivery. Committed to maintaining high standards of performance and responsiveness.
