A Typical Day
The Business Support Analyst II will be joining a team dedicated to the identification and cure of loan defects prior to a loan's closing. The team identifies opportunities of improvement by reviewing Quality Control findings and Investor identified defects on closed loans. The Business Support Analyst assists in managing a broad variety of departmental operations and administrative activities including researching commonly occurring loan eligibility issues, monitoring reports that ensure loan eligibility, issuing feedback to our operations teams when defects are identified, and helping to contribute to the team's overall initiative of decreasing our loan defect rate. As the Business Analyst, you will provide broad administrative support to the Assistant VP to support these goals.
The Business Support Analyst will :
+ Research commonly occurring loan issues and develop system enhancements or control reports to address the issue
+ Develop control reports through monitoring and testing, giving regular feedback to your manager
+ After our data team creates a report, the Analyst will be expected to give feedback and refine each report for maximum efficiency
+ Interact with loan processing leaders to issue feedback when process is not followed or a loan defect is identified
+ Serve as a point person to interact with internal clients to facilitate complex projects and presentations
+ Assist business units with developing interim business tools to faciltitate an increased level of efficiency
+ Support the Operations team with data analysis and problem solving
+ Draft policies and procedures for the different deparment roles and responsibilities
+ Perform other related duties as required and assigned

What You’ll Bring
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration or related field required
+ 3+ years of Mortgage industry experience required
+ Must be highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
+ Must possess superior analytical skills
+ Problem-solving and advanced critical thinking skills
+ Detail-oriented analysis with strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.

$55,000 - $85,000
