Business Support Administrator

We are seeking a highly organised Business Administrator to join our Learning and Development team at Willis Towers Watson in Reigate. This role is based in our modern, open-plan office, with convenient onsite parking. The position will be office-based for the first few months, after which it will transition to a hybrid model, requiring at least two days in the office per week.

The Role

This is a people-focused, performance-driven role where you’ll play a key part in supporting the Retirement GB Learning and Development team to deliver high-impact development initiatives. You'll work closely with a collaborative team of business support colleagues, sharing responsibilities and contributing to the smooth execution of learning programmes that empower our people to grow, perform, and succeed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes ownership, and is passionate about making a real difference in people’s development journeys.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to enhance your skills in team collaboration, administration, and organisation. You will manage calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, and ensure professional and efficient communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Trainee consultant programme: administrative support on the training provided in a trainee consultant’s first five years (which includes a mix of virtual and in-person training), involving calendar management and communication, managing attendance lists, creating inclusive and diverse training groups, managing breakout rooms, managing and summarising feedback forms, in-person event organisation/support and other administrative duties Senior colleague training: administrative support including calendar management, creating inclusive and diverse training groups, room bookings and training day logistics, managing breakout rooms and other administrative duties Oracle Learning Cloud maintenance (our learning management system) PowerPoint support: converting or reformatting slide decks for training as needed Supporting with the use of Teams Channels for training messaging and materials Providing business support to develop content for other Retirement GB development programmes General team administration duties for the L&D team: for example organising team meetings and maintaining action logs

The Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams) and a solid understanding of Excel. Strong command of the English language, with excellent spelling, grammar, and a good level of numeracy.
