Duties and responsibilities
Assist the Assistant Facilities Manager in overseeing technical building operations and maintenance activitiesCoordinate with contractors and vendors to schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspectionsMonitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipmentMaintain accurate documentation of technical operations, maintenance records, and compliance reportsRespond to and prioritize facility-related service requests and technical issuesConduct regular facility inspections for the managed facilities (offices and warehouses) to identify potential maintenance needs or safety concernsAssess the condition of the managed assets and implement life-cycle replacement where applicableSupport the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practicesCollaborate with the facilities team to develop and update standard operating procedures for technical systemsSupport move and change as well as minor project worksParticipate in emergency response planning and drills related to building systemsRequired Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field3+ years of experience in facilities operations or building maintenanceKnowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management softwareStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to safety protocols and proceduresPreferred Skills
Technical certifications relevant to building systems or facilities managementPrevious experience in a commercial real estate environmentKnowledge of building systems and maintenance proceduresBackground in the electronics industry or corporate office environmentsProficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese;Bilingual (English & Mandarin); knowledge of local dialect is an advantage.Knowledge of building codes and regulatory compliance requirementsExperience with sustainability initiatives and energy managementProject coordination or management experienceStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailFamiliarity with CAD or space planning softwareAt JLL, we believe that the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive.
