What is the opportunity?
Join RBC Wealth Management, U.S. and help define our future through your direct involvement in achieving our long-term strategy. The Business Strategy Associate is responsible for managing the end-to-end realization of our strategic priorities by supporting the Wealth Management executive leadership team.
As a Business Strategy Associate, you will lead projects that progress our strategic priorities from inception through to implementation, own the preparation of executive-level materials, and conduct strategic deep-dives into key business initiatives to support development of our long-term priority roadmap.
This role has daily interaction with executives and leaders across Wealth Management, U.S. and the broader RBC enterprise. Therefore, you will need strong financial/business analysis skills and experience, and the maturity and confidence to interact with corporate executives and present your viewpoint through supporting data, metrics and other business indicators.
Candidates with experience in a large, global consulting firm, preferably within the strategy or finance practice, would be well suited for this role.
What will you do?
Work directly with senior leadership of Wealth Management, U.S. to define and execute against the organization’s top strategic prioritiesManage and deliver on business projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelinesConduct project-based strategic deep-dives into key business initiatives, producing in-depth analysis and recommendations that guide strategic planning and executionParticipate in the business review process, including analyzing financial performance against business KPIs, interpreting their impact on the business, and developing insightful materials for leadership review and decision-makingMaintain a deep understanding of the business strategy and the competitive landscape, leveraging domain expertise to identify and prioritize opportunities that enhance competitive positioning and improve business and client outcomesWhat do you need to succeed?

This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
