As a Business Specialist on the Generation Support Services (GSS) team within the Americas Outage and Maintenance Services (AOMS) division, you will support the procurement process for projects in the nuclear sector. You will manage the end-to-end procurement process from the GSS perspective, and is critical to ensuring project milestones are met while complying with industry standards and safety protocols. You will work with with GSS, Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS), Project Controls and Finance to deliver cost, quality, delivery, and reliability to reach organizational goals.
You will report to the GSS Director of Project Controls. This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with project managers to determine requirements associated with project-related purchases. Working with various stakeholders, prepare high quality and concise purchase requisition packages in SAP, including applicable technical and quality requirements.
Working with GSCS, solicit quotations through Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quote (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) and other methods from approved suppliers, analyze contract proposals and perform risk assessments. For suppliers new to Westinghouse, initiate and manage the addition to the approved supplier list (with the collaboration of GSCS).
Develop reporting through Power BI or other means to track the sourcing process from identified need through PO closeout upon completion of invoicing.
With GSCS, facilitate contract change activities (including change requests, amendments, orders, renewals, termination notices)
Invoice Reconciler – review & approve vendor invoices utilizing Ariba Spend Management software
Track goods deliveries/ good receipts and payment price of key commodities regularly to ensure critical supplier invoices are paid on time.
Qualifications:
BA in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent
4+ years of experience in project controls or supply chain management
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Proficient use of SAP EP1
Basic knowledge of nuclear power plant operation, maintenance, and repair
