Business Relationship Manager

The Business Relationship Manager (BRM) at SPN Bank Partner plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the relationship between the bank branches and Manulife. This position is primarily focused on overseeing the sales and administration of Group Credit Life (GCL) products and Non-GCL products across 9 to 15 bank branches. The BRM ensures compliance, manages legal aspects, and fosters strong partnerships across the assigned region.

Position Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Management:

Assist bank branches in the promotion and sales of Group Credit Life (GCL) products.Facilitate the referral process for Non-GCL products by bank staff.Monitor sales performance and provide strategic insights to enhance growth to achieve their Fee Income Targets.

Legal & Compliance:

Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.Act as the primary liaison for compliance-related matters between the bank and Manulife.

Administrative Tasks:

Oversee sales-related (PPA Form) and non-sales (Constence form, Mobile App, Delivery Policy Contract, Acknowledgement Letter, Claims, and other administrative functions and supports.Ensure accurate and timely processing of documents and reports.

Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with bank staff, Banca Unit and branch managements.Represent Manulife in interactions with SPN Bank, ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.

Training & Development:

Conduct training sessions for bank staff on product knowledge and sales techniques.Provide ongoing support and mentorship to enhance team skills and performance.

Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, compliance issues, and partnership effectiveness.Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience at least 3 years in relationship management, preferably in the banking or insurance sector.Strong understanding of legal and compliance requirements in financial services.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple branches efficiently.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Frequent travel to bank branches within the region may be required.Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
