Finance Manager
Your Role: Own the Challenge
In this role, you support the implementation of the strategy for continuous improvement of processes within the local Motion organizational unit.
The working model for this role is: on-site, hybrid in accordance with policy (maximum 2 days/week remote).You identify, analyze, and optimize business processes within the local organizational unit. You develop and implement sustainable improvement measures to increase efficiency and productivity, ensuring alignment with local business strategy.
As a key interface, you collaborate closely with various departments and stakeholders to coordinate and communicate process changes. In this context, you also serve as a key user for relevant systems and platforms.
You design, assess, and implement suitable tools and technologies to automate and simplify processes. In addition, you conduct trainings and workshops to ensure employees understand and adopt new process requirements.
You continuously monitor the performance of existing business processes, derive improvement initiatives, and regularly report to the local management team. Your actions reflect a strong sense of responsibility and are guided by ABB’s core values—especially with regard to safety, integrity, and teamwork.
What it takes to Run what runs the world
Completed degree in business administration or a technical field, e.g., Business Informatics, Business Administration with a focus on Process Management, or a comparable qualification
Experience in process management
Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.); ideally also experience with SAP and Salesforce
Fluent in German and good command of English, both written and spoken (minimum level B2)
Strong customer orientation and cost-conscious mindset
High level of initiative and ability to work well in a team
Independent, structured approach to work
Reliability and strong communication skills

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is € 3.400 gross per month as of May 2025. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
