Business Program/Project Managers - Payments
Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown office (250 Yonge St, Toronto)/Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time

We are seeking experienced Business Program/Project Managers to lead initiatives within our Payments API Program. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in banking, payments systems, and API product development, with the ability to drive strategic roadmaps and manage cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of business programs/projects related to Payments and API development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
• Drive strategic visioning and road mapping for API product development.
• Manage client-facing communications and vendor relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Provide regular updates and presentations to C-level executives.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile methodology.
• Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and change control processes.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ years of experience in program/project management within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proven experience in Payments systems and API implementation.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
• Technical acumen with a balanced understanding of business and technology (approx. 60/40 split).
• Experience with commercial banking and familiarity with SWIFT, securities, and payment processing is a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in vendor management and client-facing roles.

Nice to Have:
• Experience in Commercial Banking
• Familiarity with Open Banking and Digital Payments Platforms
