Job Title: Business Processes Senior Consultant

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Map business processes to solution requirements. Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives. Support end-to-end solution design and configuration across all relevant solutions (on-premise, cloud and hybrid), applying state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. Participate in transition planning of customer solution landscapes. Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific Lines of Business (LoBs) or industries. Support pre-sales activities. Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies. Support escalated projects. Occasionally take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery. Support line manager(s) in people development tasks. Deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success. Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience. Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services. Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas. Support in solution testing and issue resolution. Mentor business process consultants.

 

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

 

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

SAP Business Planning and Consolidation for Microsoft and Netweaver including Standard Planning, Embedded Planning, and Consolidation; SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) Finance Accounting and Cost Controlling modules (FI & CO); SAP Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Architecture strategy definition; SAP EPM solutions including SAP Disclosure Management (SAP DM), SAP Profitability and Performance Management (SAP PaPM) and SAP Financial Consolidation (SAP FC); and Development of Objects for SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning and reporting.

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,923 - $196,010. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $135,600 - $230,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
