Business Process Specialist

Quality, efficiency, and safety all play a big role in our work at Danone. Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for the Supply Chain team. We are currently looking to hire a Business Process Specialist based in Louisville, CO, White Plains, NY or near any of our plant locations!

 

 

Position Description:

 

The Business Process Specialist provides business support for functional accountabilities. The BPS supports Supply Chain Operations systems/processes translating systems capabilities into best practices.   This role is responsible for transacting, monitoring and evaluating system and process performance for SAP, OpenText, Uber Freight, Guardian, WMS (internal/external integration), and High Radius to drive successful processing of transaction and messages resulting in optimization of Supply Chain business KPI/processes.  The BPS serves as primary liaison between other internal/external counterparts including but not limited to the following: Quality, Transportation, 3PL Partners, Invoice to Cash team, Customer Solutions, internal Master Data. The BPS supports Supply Chain in systems development projects to ensure systems enhancements do not adversely impact business results.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Monitor key performance indicators to ensure process compliance and alignmentIdentify, Initiate, collaborate, and manage efforts cross functionally to improve processes, associated KPIs and generate productivityIncludes Internal/External collaborationAbility to quickly analyze and benchmark information.Manage IDOC issues to ensure integrity and timely flow of transactional data as well as systematic processing.Forward-looking improvement possibilities, constantly reviewing learning’s and relentless pursuit of process improvementsAbility to leverage Business analytic tools for analysis purposesEvaluating existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.Understanding and documenting detailed, specific business process workflowsWorking collaboratively with business leaders and teams to understand process challenges and goals.Developing and implementing new processes or improvements to existing ones.Conducting regular process audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.Creating process documentation and visual representations for training and referenceCommunicating changes and providing training to affected business units.Providing support and troubleshooting for process-related issues.Monitoring the effects of process changes and adjustments, and making additional modifications as needed.Engaging in project management activities to support the implementation of business process changesAll other duties as assigned – including but not limited to FTO coverage and business needs coverage

 

The base compensation range for this position is $61,000 - $68,000 commensurate with experience. Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

 

Associate Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Accounting/Finance systems, or equivalent combination of education or experienceMinimum 1- 3 years’ experience Supply Chain or Order to Cash roleIntermediate experience with MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)Experience using data, especially business KPIs, to illustrate business problems and solutions.Proven communication and decision-making skillsA professional demeanorSelf-directed, yet able to work well in team environment, sometimes with little direction in less than black and white situations.The ability to rapidly assess, analyze, and resolve problems with little initial information or direction and with varying degrees of ambiguityActive listening skillsPowerful communication skills. Work experience in supply chain environment utilizing SAP and WMS integrationPowerbi a plusAccounting experience a plusDesire to become more technically proficient in supply chain information systems and Order To Cash processes
