Responsibilities

Consult with senior business owners to understand business strategy and needsWork as an individual contributor or lead others on specific process improvement or measurement projectsEducate and coach others in business process management methodsPrepare and present recommendations and status of initiatives to executive managementGather process performance dataConduct quantitative and qualitative analysisIdentify opportunities for process improvement or organizational/job designDesign future state processes gaining input and buy-in from multiple stakeholdersDevelop BPMN 2.0 process models in process modeling softwareCreate charts, diagrams, and impactful deliverable documents using PowerPoint, Excel, Visio or WordConduct work observations; measure work activities; set productivity standardsFacilitate group working sessionsAdminister process change governanceEstablish, measure and report key performance indicatorsPlan and manage project tasks, risks, and timelinesDocuments processes, policies, procedures and other key executive documentation

Qualifications

Lean / process certification or Process Banking experience(very strong equivalent experience may be considered)Experience training and directly using lean and/or agile management methods for knowledge/service industriesPrior success in leading process redesign efforts on large programsAbility to work in a consultative manner across multiple business areasStrong analytical & problem solving skillsAbility to think holistically about complex organizational, process, and technology systemsHighly organized and detail-oriented approach to personal work qualityStrong written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting with senior executivesBachelors degree required, masters preferred

Preferred

Experience with customer journey mapping, identification of moments of truth, and action planningStrategic organizational change management experience from intent development through realization with strong focus on identifying and mitigating change risksWorking experience with one or more financial services functions: Wholesale Banking activities like Global Markets, Transactional Banking, Lending, Transaction Processing, Deposit Operations.

Experience

More than 3 years of experience in a Process Management/Process Engineering role AND 2+ years leading others in strategic planning/process engineering

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
