Inviting applications for the role of Business Planning and Analysis (BPA) - Assistant Manager-English-Hybrid Wroclaw

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, monthly financial analysis materials, managing planning and forecasting cycles of the Selling General and Administrative (SGA) expenses. The position requires use of insightful financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts to provide practical counsel and recommendations to business leaders, partners in the client organization that drive business results with an emphasis on identifying the deviations and risks based on comparisons of results to key performance indicators and financial benchmarks, costs, and headcount actuals against the forecast and the budgets. Participating in transformation initiatives and working with the Global Process Owners to support process standardization, simplicity and efficiency the part of the role.

Responsibilities Initial build submission of financial plans (quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting) for Selling General and Administrative (SGA) expensesProviding analysis and narratives to explain variances versus prior planning scenarios (prior budget, prior forecast)Closing financial books in a monthly schedule, followed by variance analysis of Month End Close result and supporting commentary on performance.Manage budget and forecasting processes, which include data consolidation and synthesis of business drivers Prepare multiple, complex and varied financial reports (including ad-hoc reports) that require selection, preparation and interpretation of data for client personnel Running a cadence of financial reviews with senior business finance partners for all reporting cyclesProducing and highlighting trends in data performance analysisCollaboration and co-operation with BPA EMEA Client organization ensuring alignment with key partner requirementsTaking a lead with prioritizing own tasks to ensure alignment with a business long-term strategy.Participation in project activities at different stages of implementation.Partner with client stakeholders to understand their goals and deliver solutions which satisfy their needs or work with the client to develop themWork with client personnel, partners, controllers and other key stakeholders to generate reports that will help them make decisions and highlight potential issuesProvide decision support to the department’s business initiatives, including analysis of options, synthesizing budget effect, and building the business caseDeliver the contracted scope of work for all contractual requirements including process metrics CPIs/KPIs/GPIsExecute work activities to meet deadlines, and review deliverables to identify financial anomalies and ensure deliverables achieve objectives.Participate in various financial projects as neededDevelop, document and continually improve all BPA processes for effectiveness and efficiencyParticipate and support transformation projects such as improving existing or developing new Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting tools and processesParticipate in ops governance with the key client stakeholders, ensure positive experience of all client stakeholders

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

Relevant BPA Experience and Working knowledge of basic accounting principles.End to end understanding of BPA with in-depth knowledge of related BPA toolsProficient in MS Office applications, especially in Advanced MS-excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.) and PowerPointUniversity degree

Preferred qualifications/ Skills

· Analytical thinking and ability to learn fast.

· Personal culture and familiarity to deal with clients in an accurate manner.

· High motivation and self-starter.

· Experience in using BI reporting (Power BI, SAP, BPC, Workday) tools would be an asset

· A strong understanding of budgeting and planning techniques (budgeting, forecasting)

Demonstrated ability to work as part of cross-functional teams, think creatively to resolve multi-faceted situations. Ability to manage difficult client situations Excellent verbal and written communication skills
