**The Position and key responsibilities**
As a Business Planning Analyst, you will be a key part of the Strategic Finance and Business Planning team. This is a critical role within the Finance and Commercial organization, responsible for consolidating the affiliate's business plan and monitoring its overall performance. You will act as a direct partner to the business, using your financial expertise to provide insightful information to key stakeholders. This position requires significant judgment and directly impacts reported net sales and the consolidated business plan.
The role encompasses two main responsibility areas: full responsibility for sales reporting and the leading and orchestrating the business planning process.
+ Partner with the business and support co-lead touchpoints throughout the whole customer journey with an enterprise mindset.
+ Balance resource allocation across competing priorities on the affiliate level and provide advice on financial implications of proposed business activities
+ Key partner for strategic discussion on business related processes such as business planning and opportunity prioritization
+ Lead, organize, and orchestrate the sales forecasting process, serving as the primary point of contact (PPOC) for all forecasting and sales reporting tools and processes
+ Ensure financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advise on deviations and corrective actions
+ Stimulate behaviors across the organization aligned with financial objectives
+ Participate in global finance communities to learn, share and implement best practices across markets
+ Lead and participate in cross-functional strategy team meetings to manage government clawbacks. This includes assessing the implications of trends, commercial contracts, and new regulations on government clawbacks, reimbursement pricing, and transfer pricing. In this role, you'll partner closely with National and Regional Market Access, Tax, RSS/Accounting, and Sales Analysts to stay informed on data that could affect future government obligations and overall performance of the affiliate
+ Present on sales-related topics to key stakeholders, including non-finance teams, while understanding their needs and concerns related to the Gross to Net Sales Cascades
+ Ensure a best-in-class internal control environment that complies with all group guidelines and audit requirements for all topics related to sales and COGS (revenue recognition, transfer pricing, inventory allowances, etc.)
+ Prepare regulatory reports (GERS, INSEE, CSE, etc.) and provide ad-hoc analytical insights on consolidated sales.
**Who you are**
+ A strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture, handle ambiguity, and present complex issues to stakeholders while also having a deep understanding of the details.
+ Experienced in working with business partners at all levels of the organization and comfortable with complex analytics with a focus on accuracy.
+ Possess the ability to collect information from various stakeholders, connect the dots, and draw insights that trigger strategic decisions.
+ Proven ability to build strong partnerships and influence non-direct reports, working collaboratively within a team environment.
+ An effective communicator who can present complex information to diverse audiences while providing the right level of detail.
+ Comfortable delivering difficult messages and challenging business partners as an active economic advisor.
+ Demonstrated proficiency and accuracy in an audit-sensitive environment.
+ Excellent presentation and communication skills in English. Good knowledge of the French language will be considered a plus.
+ An understanding of working in an agile environment.
+ The ability to work under time pressure and still deliver high-quality work with short processing times.
