Location: Central Scotland or hybrid, with national travel as required

Salary: £35k-£45k plus car allowance.

We’re looking for a Business Partnership Manager who shares our values and can lead the development of strategic, purposeful partnerships that extend our reach and maximise our impact across the sustainability and skills landscape.

 

This is more than a sales or business development role - it’s about building the relationships that turn climate ambition into action, and ensuring our training and consultancy offer delivers real-world impact.

 

What you’ll be doing

Build strategic relationships with employers, funders, local authorities, and education providersIdentify and convert opportunities to grow our reach and revenueRepresent The Verdancy Group at sector events and meetings, raising our profile and influenceLead or support funding bids and commercial proposalsContribute to contract development and partner negotiationsWork with delivery teams to shape offers that meet real demandTrack progress and partnerships through CRM and reporting tools

 

What you’ll bring

A strong background in business development, partnerships, or sales Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience in training, education, sustainability, or a related sectorStrategic thinking and a proactive, opportunity-focused mindsetConfidence in commercial writing and bid contributions
