**Electronics and Controls | Vilter, Business Applications Senior Lead**
**Description:**
The Business Applications Senior Lead is a critical, hands-on leadership role responsible for optimizing and advancing business-critical applications and systems across the organization. Acting as a bridge between IT and business functions, this role focuses on aligning digital solutions with strategic business needs, driving system efficiencies, and delivering high-value process improvements. The Senior Lead partners closely with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance, improve user experience, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure operational excellence across platforms such as ERP, CRM, and shop floor systems.
**Responsibilities:**
**Application & Process Optimization**
+ Drive the continuous improvement of key business applications, including ERP, CRM, MES, and third-party cloud-based tools.
+ Collaborate with business leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
+ Translate business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with development and support teams to implement effective solutions.
+ Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures and documentation for critical application workflows.
+ Champion end-to-end process simplification and automation efforts to reduce manual interventions and increase efficiency.
**Program Execution & Governance**
+ Lead and support cross-functional projects related to system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and enterprise platform transitions.
+ Ensure timely and effective delivery of projects using structured project management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, PMP).
+ Establish performance measures and process control plans to track adoption, performance, and business impact.
+ Partner with enterprise teams to align business unit needs with corporate application strategies and roadmaps.
**Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership**
+ Act as the liaison between business and IT, facilitating transparent communication and alignment.
+ Support organizational change management efforts by helping end users adapt to new systems and processes.
+ Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within and across teams.
+ Provide guidance and mentorship to junior application specialists and cross-functional project participants.
**Data & Analytics Enablement**
+ Collaborate with data teams to define KPIs, reports, and dashboards that empower business users with actionable insights.
+ Support initiatives that improve data integrity, governance, and literacy across the organization.
**Qualifications**
**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
+ 8–10 years of experience in business applications, IT systems analysis, or enterprise solutions delivery.
+ Proven track record of delivering process improvement and technology enablement projects in manufacturing, operations, or customer experience.
+ Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS), CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Snowflake).
+ Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
**Preferred Certifications**
+ PMP, Lean Six Sigma, SAFe, or other process improvement/project management credentials.
**Core Skills & Competencies**
+ **Enterprise Systems Expertise** : Deep understanding of ERP (e.g., Oracle EBS), CRM (e.g., Salesforce), MES, and business-critical cloud applications.
+ **Business Process Mapping** : Proficiency in analyzing, documenting, and optimizing business processes using BPMN or similar methodologies.
+ **Project Management** : Skilled in managing full project lifecycles using methodologies like Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or PMP standards.
+ **Process Improvement** : Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles to identify waste and drive operational efficiency.
+ **Change Management** : Expertise in facilitating user adoption, training, and stakeholder engagement in transformation initiatives.
+ **Data Analytics & Reporting** : Familiarity with tools like Power BI, Snowflake, or Tableau for building dashboards and supporting data-driven decisions.
+ **Integration & Automation** : Experience working with middleware, APIs, and RPA tools to integrate and automate business applications.
+ **Technical Communication** : Ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
+ **User Experience Focus** : Advocates for intuitive, streamlined, and user-centric application design.
+ **Vendor Management** : Skilled at coordinating with external vendors, consultants, and service providers.
+ **Documentation & SOP Development** : Capable of creating clear, comprehensive documentation and training materials.
**Travel**
+ 10–20% domestic or international travel may be required based on project needs.
