Business Operations Manager

Description

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for building catering sales through the creation of new accounts, meeting company quarterly and yearly goals by creating a comprehensive strategy. This position will perform accurate reporting and analysis of sales using systems in place in a timely manner, apply proven presentation skills speaking to large audiences with the ability to ask qualifying questions, create daily and weekly agendas to meet with existing and potential customers recorded in CRM for accurate tracking and manage catering clients via a broad range of communication methods (phone, email and regularly scheduled sales calls) to build and maintain business. The Catering Sales Manager will adhere to Company guidelines regarding pricing, menu items, and preferred rates/discounts. This position will assist with office administrative functions and special projects and events as requested.

* Human Resources & Training and Development

Applies competent reading and writing abilities to comply and adhere to all Company policies and procedures. Attends regular compliance training. Utilizes effective communication skills to interact successfully with all levels of the organization as well as customers. Ensures compliance of all Human Resources policies and procedures.

*Marketing

Acts as a positive and professional Brand ambassador. Assists with helping operations teams towards achievement of all company goals and marketing initiatives. Represents the Brand with respect and integrity. Applies strong interpersonal skills and ability to build strong rapport with the community to be an effective representative of the Boudin brand. Extends genuine hospitality and accommodates guests both in person and over the phone, and negotiates and applies strong communication skills with vendors, clients, and customers. The Catering Sales Manager applies strong knowledge/familiarity with a given region to build business relationships and community. Protects organizational goals by keeping information confidential. Promotes Boudin brand awareness, culture, and values.

*Financial Acumen

Meets company quarterly and yearly goals by creating a comprehensive strategy. Contributes to Catering fiscal responsibility by increasing sales and customer base. Ensures operating costs, labor and food costs meet Company standards. Assists in ensuring the completion and accuracy of all financial data and paperwork. Assists with interpreting and evaluating financial statements and makes recommendations. Responsible for increasing Boudin catering sales and accounts (phone and in-person). Resolves catering order issues.

*Operational Savviness

Execute catering goals successfully by working closely with General Managers and Catering Teams. Follows Company operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security. Ensures Service Excellence. Adheres to and ensures all systems of operations are effectively used. Responds effectively and positively to customer issues. This position will assist with office administrative functions and special projects and events as requested.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of sales experience. Sales within a restaurant setting a plus. Previous experience with Monkey Media. Ability to negotiate and communicate well with vendors, clients, and customers. Excellent verbal and written command of the English language. Familiarity with assigned territory. Experience in multitasking within a demanding environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and Excel. Reliable transportation to conduct sales calls and client visits daily (85% of travel within the market). Be a self-starter, with a drive and passion for catering! Must meet Boudin’s Driver Qualifications/Criteria.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
