Business Office Analyst - SharePoint Programmer

In this position...

The Business Office SharePoint Developer designs & implements custom web/cloud-based solutions with SharePoint and JAVA platform for Design, Fabrication, Model E, and Business Office teams, in all regions.

S/He integrates large scale solutions with different Ford systems to provide analytics and reporting features, and collaborates cross-functionally with Product and Design counterparts to design and implement new solutions.

This position actively participated in Scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, and code review meetings.
 

You'll have...

Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Proficient in coding in one or more languages - SharePoint Online, SharePoint Enterprise Server 2019 Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Hands-on experience with developing SharePoint solutions using – C#, SPFx (TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, Handlebars, npm, Webpack, REST APIs) and Graph API, VS Code. Robust hands-on experience in PowerShell Scripting and PnP provisioning for SharePoint Online and M365 services. Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages. Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.

This position is a range of salary grades 6 - 8 .

What you'll do...

As PMA SharePoint Developer, you will…

Plan and architect infrastructure integration. Architect and POC custom code as needed. Maintain existing and add new programs to the management system. Create custom reports based on the Ford Managements need. Upgrade existing features of the site to new Web based plate forms (SPFx, Angular) Enhance custom SharePoint workflows logics. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client’s requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software to be performed by development team. Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team Provide Innovative solutions to complex system problems. Review the technical design specifications and code new or modify existing programs as per the design requirements. Provide application technical support and maintenance activities for enhanced system functionality. Interact with end-users and troubleshoot production issues. Prepares System requirements specification documents. Documents test plan. Maintain a log of all change requests.
