What You’ll Do: 

Financial Oversight: Maintain dealership financial records, ensure accurate month-end closings, and review general ledger schedules.Compliance & Controls: Monitor operational income statements, conduct fraud prevention reviews, and ensure adherence to internal controls and LAD financial policies.Cash Flow & Banking: Oversee accounts receivable collections, daily bank postings, and bank reconciliations.Payroll & Payables: Review or prepare payroll and accounts payable for accuracy and timeliness.Inventory & Fixed Assets: Conduct physical vehicle inventories, reconcile parts inventory, and support fixed asset reporting.Title & Registration: Resolve issues related to inbound and outbound vehicle documentation.Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with dealership leadership (especially the GM), manage a team of 2–10 staff, and support hiring, training, and performance management.Manufacturer Relations: Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, warranty claims, and reporting requirements.Strategic Contributions: Participate in budgeting (up to $8MM), support stores with up to $200MM in revenue, and contribute to M&A activities.

What You’ll Bring: 

Strong attention to detail, urgency, and communication.Proficiency in accounting processes, reconciliation, and financial analysis.Ability to interpret financial results and recommend actions.Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or 3+ years of dealership accounting experience (required).Experience in team leadership and the auto industry (preferred).

Qualifications: 

High School graduate or equivalent required 18 years or older We are a drug-free workplace
