Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Manager to join the Brazil Analytics Center of Excellence within the Global Finance Services Division. This role will be responsible for managing product costing and related activities, supporting global strategic objectives, and overseeing other key accounting functions across the organization.
What you will do:
Provide strategic leadership to the Brazil Analytics Center of Excellence team, delivering financial insights and recommendations to support cost and investment analyses, SCR, and sourcing decisions. Ensure the effective application of financial tools and methodologies in alignment with corporate guidelines. Partner closely with internal stakeholders — including Product Groups, Business Resources, Engineering, and Purchasing — to drive informed decision-making and operational excellence.
General Job Responsibilities
- Prime product and/or component cost monitoring & analysis.
- Standard and current cost
- Sourcing analysis, support management with analysis for decision making in various projects and cost reduction programs.
- NPI support including future cost, should cost, alternative analyses and strategy.
- Landed Costs
- OPACC determination & analysis
- Enterprise coordination and/or governance of costing activities
- Product group and/or operational strategy development & execution
- Low-cost producer analysis
- Development of new/alternative costing methodologies, processes, and/or systems
- Continuous improvement and other project initiatives
What you have – Skills:
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business. Anticipates and adapts to plan changes.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Organizes and prioritizes the sequence of steps to be taken to remedy the situation. Ability to approach problems through Root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCCA).
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. Reviews others' writing or presentations and provides feedback and coaching. Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience. Demonstrates both empathy and assertiveness when communicating a need or defending a position. Ability to communicate, downward, upward, and outward. Maintains focus on the topic at hand.
Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Judgment and Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process; ability to carefully evaluate the impact of emerging business situations and choose the best path forward communicating actions and activities that maximize organizational performance. Stands by decisions in the face of conflict or unexpected outcome. Selects the right activities to work on from a range of competing priorities. Ability to distinguish between, signal and noise when taking course of action. Ability to transit from evaluation to conclusion in appropriate time.
What you will have:
- Bachelor degree
- Pre-advanced english
- Extensive accounting background, thorough knowledge of accounting flow and related methods
- Experience in leading teams directly
Top candidates:
- Advanced/Fluent English
- MBA, Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or similar.
- 6 Sigma Black Belt certification
Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.
