**Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital** is looking for a **Business Manager** to support a team of health care and security professionals in our newly renovated facility at **205 Hollow Tree Lane, Spring, TX** .

Salary starting at $80,000 DOE
As the Business Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the business office which includes accounting, payroll, property/supply and purchasing. You will also supervise the supply technician.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Prepare month-end closing of financial books, including journal entries, overhead application schedules, bank reconciliations, general ledger account analyses, and facility and corporate financial reports.
+ Review and monitor financial transactions and reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
+ Support the monthly customer billing process.
+ Prepare the facility departmental budget, monitor and control expenditures.
+ Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures affecting finance and procurement.
+ Prepare and maintain cost data and related analysis pertaining to facility operations.
+ Audit the data entry and reports of the accounts payable and cashier functions.
+ Ensure the balancing of books and compilation of statistical reports such as expenditures, departmental costs and other pertinent reports.
+ Supervise incoming and prepare outgoing interdivisional billings, reconcile and clear interdivisional accounts and prepare associated journal entries.
+ Coordinate with other facility staff concerning accounting matters.
+ Supervise property/supply and purchasing activities including the management of proper recordkeeping and reporting of equipment and consumable supplies.
+ Establish and maintain a qualified vendor list annotated as to small, large, or minority business; maintain an updated file on minority business vendors.
+ Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed. Provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills procedures and intervention techniques.
+ Maintain accountability of staff, patients and property; adhere to safety practices.
**Education and Experience Requirements:**
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration, or related field and four (4) years of finance or related experience required, two (2) of which must be in a managerial capacity. Experience with automated accounting systems and computer proficiency is also required. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements, if approved by finance senior vice president and regional vice president. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
**Post Hire Requirements:**
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements and maintain appropriate facility clearance.
